Elsa Pena and Vicente Hernández, Spanish Champions of the Calahorra Cross Triathlon
The 26 Spanish Cross Triathlon Championship was held in Calahorra on July 2025., opening an intense weekend of national competitions that also includes the Aquathlon and the Du Cros.
In a lively atmosphere at the El Perdiguero reservoir and the Cidacos Park, the elite titles went to Elsa Pena y Vicente Hernández.
Elsa Pena revalidates the title
Elsa Pena, from the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, gave no options. He stopped the clock in 1h32: 22 to retain his national title. He was accompanied on the podium Ivette Sánchez (Katoa Barcelona), just 1:04, and Elena Diez (Laguna de Duero), who entered at 1:11. Vicente Hernández makes his debut as champion
In the men's category, the victory went to Vicente Hernández (Tenerife Reactivité Fisioterapia In Side Logistics), who won a very tight race with a time of 1h15: 39. Only 8 seconds came in behind Eneko de Castro (Diablillos de Rivas), and completed the podium Kevin Tarek Viñuela (Cidade de Lugo Fluvial), which led the swimming segment.
The team Imps from Rivas dominated by clubs, both in elite and U23, with Alejandro Pla y Paco Marti completing the top positions in this last category.

In juveniles, Maria Romero (Squali Carabanchel) took the women's title, while Oscar Giral (Stadium Casablanca Mapei) won in the boys' competition. In the cadet competition, the victories went to Paula Burgos (Squali Carabanchel) and Marco García-Guillén (CD Vas).
