Diablillos de Rivas wins the 2025 Spanish Triathlon SuperSprint Relay Couples Championships
Absolute dominance in the First Division for the Madrid club, which took home both the women's and men's gold medals in a thrilling round of the National Club League.
On July 13th, a key day of the national triathlon was held in Banyoles. Spanish Triathlon SuperSprint Relay Couples Championship, the fourth stop of the National Leagues. A fast-paced, paired, super-short-distance format that rewards coordination, tactics, and explosiveness.
The great protagonist of the day was the Club Diablillos de Rivas, which was so popular in First Division, both men and women, also taking home the Loterías jerseys as champions of Spain.
First Division: Diablillos de Rivas imposes its law
In the women's competition, victory was not easy. Náutico de Narón led part of the test, but a powerful final relay of Paula from the Well y Lucia Acosta, after the work of Carla Guisande, Sonja Lisa De Koning, Sue y Lucia Castelló, allowed Diablillos to cross the finish line in 1h06m22s. In girls, their team (with Ana Perez, Lucia Piñón, Gabriela Quintas, María Muñiz, Carla Larrabeiti y Lara Solsona) won gold with a time of 1h09m25s. Montilla Córdoba Triathlon was second (1h09m56s) and Rioja newts, third (1h10m48s).
In men, they won with 59:16. Damian Suarez, Romaric Forqués, Lucas Riola, Xoel Rodríguez, Dennis Incutti y Alex Rodriguez were the protagonists. The silver went to Club Natació Barcelona Fasttriatlon (1h00m09s) and the bronze for Isbilya Sloppy Joe's (1h00m24s).
Third Division: Resistentia T3 double and promotion
In the Third Division there was also absolute dominance of the T3 resistance, who was crowned champion in both women's and men's categories.
In the women's event, the following stood out: Leane Blanchard, Pamela Hernández, Clara Segarra, Silvia Simarro, María del Pilar Ayuso y Chloe Nicholas, winning with 1h12m39s. Second were the girls from Marlins Triathlon Madrid and third those of the Tenerife Reactivity.
In men, victory with 1h02m16s and a team formed by Luis Miguel Velásquez, Yhousman Perdomo, Luca Grao, José Enrique Segarra, Francisco Álvarez y Oscar Espinosa. Second was Tenerife Reactivity, third Vicálvaro Triathlon.
