Garaialde and Azabal win the Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship
Aiara Garaialde and Rodrigo Azabal were crowned Spanish Winter Triathlon Champions 2026 at the Reinosa White Triathlon, a race held in demanding conditions that brought together more than 160 athletes.
El Spain 2026 Winter Triathlon Championship It was held this weekend in Reinosa (Cantabria)within the traditional White Triathlon, one of the most recognized events in this discipline at the national level.
The test combined running, cycling and cross-country skiing, with an initial six-kilometer route through the Campoo region, followed by 20 kilometers of cycling to the station of High Campoo and a final six-kilometer stretch of cross-country skiing.

The podium was completed by Ana Gay (Covasa Dr. Bike Triathlon), who made a remarkable debut in the discipline with 2:05:12.
At male category, Rodrigo Azabal (Stadium Casablanca Mapei) showed strength in all three segments to take the national title with a time of 1:33:53ahead of his teammate Raúl López, who climbed to second place with 1:34:36, Y de Pello Osoro (Peñota Dental Alusigma), third with 1:34:49.
