María Varo wins the 2025 Spanish Duathlon Championship in Cáceres

Today March 29, Caceres welcomed the Spanish Duathlon Championship with a name shining with its own light: María Varo.
The duathlete of the TriInfinity Móstoles was proclaimed national champion after a dominant performance from the starting gun.

In the cycling segment, Reimondo managed to catch Varo on the final lap, forming a leading duo with a 45-second lead over the chasing pack. However, María Varo did not want to wait for the outcome and decided to attack from the first kilometer of the cycling segment.
The strategy worked. Reimondo couldn't keep up with that pace and a trio formed behind him with Marina Muñoz y Paula from the Well, which would end up being key in the fight for the podium.
Second transition with advantage
Despite attempts at cutbacks by Muñoz and Del Pozo, Varo He maintained his lead and reached the second transition with enough margin to face the final foot race with relative ease.
Last race without surprises
