MTRI Valencia 2025 kicks off with more than 700 triathletes

El May 31, Malvarrosa Beach was the scene of the start of the MTRI Valencia 2025, with an intense day that brought together more than 700 triathletes coming from all over Spain.
At 8:30 sharp, the sprint distance started, with nearly 600 athletes competing under a sun that promised a demanding morning.
The test, organized by the CT A Corre Cuita and Federation of Triatló of the Valencian Community, opened its new headquarters on the emblematic Valencian beach, but with logistics that were already more than proven.
Clara Segarra and Mark Vysotin, the fastest of the day
In the women's competition, the victory went to Clara Segarra of the CDT T3 resistance, who crossed the finish line in 1:10:00, demonstrating great solvency from the early stages of his career. Just 27 seconds the veteran entered Yolanda Mir, while the third place on the podium went to Maria Recuero, from the Bull Project Triathlon, a regular at the Mediterranean Triathlon events.
In the male category, Mark Vysotin of the Kona Baby He took the victory after recording a time of 1:00:33The Russian had already come from a podium finish in MTRI Alicante, and this time managed to finish with a first place finish. They completed the podium Nicholas Galia (CDT Resistant T3) and Alejo Solsona Gálvez (SD Roadrunner).
The family duathlon thrills Valencia once again
One of the most endearing images of the day was left by the family duathlon, a non-competitive but highly contested test in which the following participated: 75 couples, grouped by age in separate outings from 5 to 13 years old.
As was the case earlier this year, the city enthusiastically embraced this format, designed for family enjoyment and to promote sports among children.
Olympic and Supersprint Sunday… and more heat!
The activity continues in Valencia. Tomorrow, Sunday, June 1st, it's time for the distances. Olympic y supersprint, which will add others 700 participants to this great triathlon festival.
