Anne Haug and Laurens Verluyten win the 2025 Volcano Triathlon
Tinajo hosts a new edition of the oldest Spanish triathlon event with almost 500 participants.
This Saturday, May 3, the 41st edition of the La Santa Volcano Triathlon Club, the longest-running Spanish triathlon event.
A total of 500 triathletes They met in Tinajo (Lanzarote) to compete in a 1.500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride, and a 10-kilometer run in spectacular surroundings. The test started at 8:00 a.m. from the saltwater lagoon of Club Santa, under mostly clear skies.

The meeting has had the support of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Lanzarote European Sports Destination, and the City Councils of Teguise y Tinajo. Furthermore, the Volcano Kids, with more than 40 young triathletes, completed a family and festive day.
After this event, all eyes are now on Club La Santa HOMBRE DE HIERRO Lanzarote, which will be held in just two weeks and promises to be another great triathlon event on the island.
