Half Madrid 2026 brings together more than 800 triathletes this Sunday in the Casa de Campo

The Half Madrid 2026 will take place this Sunday, September 27th in the Casa de Campo with 820 entries on the participant list and the Madrid Middle Distance Triathlon Championship at stake.

The Madrid event will bring together the Half, Short and Half Aquabike categories , all of them non-drafting, with the Football Field next to the Lake of the Casa de Campo as the center of the competition.

The Half distance race will also serve as the Madrid Middle Distance Championship and will count towards the national Middle and Long Distance rankings . This edition comes after Half Madrid confirmed September 27th as the date for 2026.

This is what the Half Madrid 2026 will be like

The main event will begin at 08:50 with a 1.850 meter swim in the Casa de Campo Lake, divided into two laps.

Next comes one of the most characteristic elements of the Half Madrid: an 82,6-kilometer cycling section in a single loop , with approximately 780 meters of accumulated elevation gain.

The course will be marked with cones throughout, and triathletes will have a reserved lane for almost the entire distance. The organizers remind participants, however, that there will be vehicle traffic on the other side of the cones for much of the course.

The final segment will be an 18,6-kilometer footrace , consisting of four 4,6-kilometer laps plus the start and finish sections in the Casa de Campo area.

Three modalities and more than 800 registrations

The list of participants available a few days before the test reaches 820 registrations among the different modalities of the program.

The reference for Half Madrid 2025

The last edition ended with victories for Diego Méntrida and Esther Leal in the Half Madrid 2025 , also held in the Casa de Campo.

A year earlier, TN had already reviewed in the preview of the Half Madrid 2025 the structure of a race that in 2026 maintains its commitment to the middle distance without drafting and the environment of the Casa de Campo.

Participants now have the 2026 Triathlete's Guide with the routes, regulations, schedules and latest instructions from the organization.
