Today we leave you one that besides being very simple, it is delicious
Recipe Eggplant pizza style.
- 2 medium eggplants
- Grated cheese to melt
- Salt to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
Step by step:
Heat the oven to 180ºC. Cut the eggplants lengthwise into slices at least 1 cm thick.
Salt them on both sides and let them rest for 10 min to release the water. Dry each slice well with absorbent paper towels.
Brush the eggplant slices with oil and place them on a baking sheet with baking paper.
Bake 10 min at 180ºC, turn them over and bake another 10 min. Remove the eggplants from the oven, and raise the temperature to 200ºC.
Cover the eggplant slices with tomato sauce, grated cheese and oregano. Optionally you can add other ingredients such as ham, tuna, bacon, onion, mushrooms, ...
Put the tray back in the oven and bake 5 more minutes at 200ºC until the cheese is melted.
Take out and serve.
