WTCS Samarkand 2026 results
The results of the WTCS Samarkand 2026 Beth Potter and Vasco Vilaça secured victories in the first event of the World Triathlon Series season.
The race was held this April 25th in SamarkandUzbekistan, regarding the Olympic distance: 1,5 km of swimming, 40,2 km of cycling and 10 km of running raceWorld Triathlon recognizes the winners Beth Potter, with 1:53:17, already Basque Vilaça, with 1:43:33.
In the women's category, Potter beat Leonie Periault y Jeanne LehairIn the men's category, Vilaça achieved his first victory in the World Series, finishing ahead of Henry Graff y charles pack.

Spaniards at the WTCS Samarkand 2026
David cantero He was the best Spaniard of the day with a ninth position in the men's event and a time of 1:44:32In the women's category, Marta Pintanel finished 28th with 2:00:35.
The Samarkand event kicks off a WTCS season where every result will count towards the overall standings. After this first race, Potter and Vilaça leave Uzbekistan as the first sporting leaders of the season.
