The triathlete has confirmed on social networks that he will debut this season in the German test that will be held on July 29.

As he comments, intended to have participated in the Texas Ironman, But lesión has not allowed it, choosing in the end the Ironman of Hamburg to start the 2018 season.

Clemente commented on the following on social networks

I will finally start the season at IM Hamburg. After injuring myself in the face of Texas and spending all April without running, I have been trying to get in shape for Austria / Frankfurt, but the years are unforgiving and I need more time to get in shape ...

It's funny, but sometimes we don't stop to notice the consequences of events that we do accept. As we get older, one recovers less, it is so, but it is difficult for us to accept that what could previously take 6-8 weeks to get in shape, due to that same lack of recovery, now takes 12.

In the same way, one recovers worse everything. Tissue repair drinks from the same sources as the rest of the recovery and adaptation to training, therefore it is not surprising to be more prone to injuries and that there are more unforeseen events along the way, lengthening even more deadlines.

One day I still feel that I can perform in IM as in my best moments, but getting to that day is much more complicated, slow and laborious, interesting from a training point of view, as a coach, but an exercise in patience and knowing do as an athlete
