Almost 1.000 triathletes will meet at the Villa de Fuente Álamo International Triathlon

The thirty-second edition of the Villa de Fuente Álamo International Triathlon It will be held this Saturday, April 27, in the waters of the Mediterranean, in front of Rihuete Beach in Mazarrón.

A sporting event that will bring together nearly 1.000 triathletes, both national and international, and that will make the Murcian town once again the focus of the triathlon this weekend.

A historic and demanding tour

The participants in the triathlon of triathletes, As this test is popularly known, they will face a course of 750 meters of swimming, 25 kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers of running.

A route that stands out for its demand, especially in the cycling segment, where triathletes must summit Alto de los Ruices, 325 meters high.

Among the most notable participants are Roberto Sánchez Mantecón y Marta Pintanel, both candidates to represent Spain at the Paris Olympic Games.

Other renowned triathletes who will be on the starting line are David cantero, winner of the Villa de Fuente Álamo International Triathlon in 2023; Cesc Godoy, Matthijs Perius, Kevin Tarek Viñuela o André Pruc.

In the women's category, in addition to Marta Pintanel, they will also be Austeja Denisovaite, Lola Sanchez Garcia o Judith Corbiel among others.
