Ainhoa ​​Murua fourth in the World Cup in Alicante.

The runner-up of the World, Stimpson, would be controlling and setting the pace in this sector, achieving an advantage of more than two and a half minutes on arrival at the T2.

 

Behind the persecuting group that included the Spanish Anna Godoy, María Ortega y Ainhoa ​​Murua they tried to cut distances. The triathlete from Elche, Tamara Gómez also circulated prominently in this block, until an inopportune puncture left her off the hook from the group. After a somewhat irregular swim segment, in which the Guipuzcoana left somewhat behind, already on the bike, but especially in the race on foot, Murua has been cutting distances, beating rivals for finally, and after a spectacular race to foot, get a remarkable fourth place. After the departure of the T2 and in a splendid race on foot, Ainhoa ​​Murua has been climbing positions throughout the four laps of the race on foot, achieving the best partial of the segment, in one to reach the fourth position.
