Lance Armstrong exhibits and wins a triathlon in San Diego

Lance Armstrong (USA) was victorious in the Coronado Island Superfrog Triathlon in San Diego (California) and set a new record with 3:49. Despite the persecution by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and his 41 years, Armstrong exhibited himself on the middle distance of this test that turned 34 editions.

Amstrong left the swim section (1,9 kilometers) a couple of minutes behind the leaders to reduce distances on the bike (90 kilometers), although he did not finish the Australian Leon Griffin until the race on foot, a half marathon of 20,9 kilometers .

The seven-time winner of the Tour de France has also competed in a Speedo swimsuit, typical of the 80s. "In honor of my sporting roots, I have decided to show the Speedo throughout the race," he confessed on his Twitter before leaving.

His balance was great. "A great time. Thanks to everyone who came out and as always, huge thanks to all the volunteers," he highlighted.
