Start the final straight for one of the most anticipated events of the international triathlon panorama

With 59 days to go to the celebration of the first edition of the Challenge Madrid, preparations and training for the hundreds of athletes who will participate in a competition that intends to become a benchmark test of the Triathlon of Long Distance in our continent.

The test will start at 75 Kilometers from the capital, in the town of Buitrago de Lozoya where the triathletes will have to cross the 3,8 km of swimming in the Reservoir of Riosequillo, later they will face to the hard 180 km of cycling crossing the Sierra Madrileña with ascent to the ports of Canencia, Morcuera and Cotos to go to the T2 located in Madrid Rio where the marathon will begin. In the last part of the race the triathletes will climb the Cuesta de la Vega to join the main street and enter the Puerta del Sol for their arrival at "Km 0", where the Meta will be located.

Today there are already several professionals confirmed as they are Iván Álvarez, Ramón Ejeda Dolca Ollé or María Pujol  among others.

Walking race 42,195 km

The triathletes will have to travel a total of 42 Km and 195 meters.
