La Spanish Cycling Federation has made a statement regarding the new rules for cycling practice in those territories that are in Phase 2 of the de-escalation
Yesterday, May 27, Order SND 445 has been published in the BOE through which the limitations for the practice of outdoor sports in the territories that are in Phase 2 of the de-escalation are relaxed.
This new order will have immediate effect, reason why the conditions to practice cycling during Phase 2 will be the following:
- You can practice physical activity outdoors in groups of up to 15 people, but keeping the safety distance and, in case this cannot be respected, you must wear a mask.
- Athletes who do not belong to the group of professional athletes, DAR or DAN may perform physical activity outdoors during Phase 2 in any time slot, except for that stipulated for those over 70 to walk or carry out activity physical (from 10 to 12 hours and from 19 to 20 hours).
Federated and non-federated athletes may carry out their activity within the limits of the province in which they reside.
Federated and non-federated athletes may move to carry out physical activity, if necessary, to those natural areas (within their province) where they must carry out their sports activity.
On the website of the Higher Sports Council You will find a very useful guide that answers the main questions that may arise regarding the conditions for practicing sport in phase 2 of the de-escalation.
Order SND 445 of the BOE, published yesterday, does not establish changes in the conditions for practicing outdoor sports in those territories that are in Phase 1, so these remain the same.
We continue to call on the entire cycling community to continue strictly abiding by the rules and showing a civic attitude according to the circumstances. From RFEC and its Armed Forces we appreciate their collaboration and the example they are showing.
We recall that this statement is made through an interpretation of the different orders issued by the Official State Gazette in recent weeks, so it does not imply any official binding information.
The RFEC issues this statement for information to the cycling community.
