The Madrid Triathlon Federation, in collaboration with the multinational paper company Navigator, launches a competition of triathlon clubs with important prizes for the winning teams. The initiative has the collaboration of prestigious brands from the triathlon world such as Orca, Visiorama Sport y Sckechers.
Dicovery, a new generation office paper brand, has launched the "Discovery Go The Extra Mile (Discovery GoXM)" campaign worldwide. The campaign consists of downloading the Discovery GoXM application, creating a team of minimum 3 people, maximum 8, and generating points running, riding a bike or walking, always outdoors.
As part of this campaign, the Madrilenian Triathlon Federation launches the Challenge Discovery GoXM, Triathlon Madrid ”, a competition between teams created by triathlon clubs that will end on December 31, 2017. Triathlon teams, not only from Madrid but at the national level, they can create as many teams as they want, made up of a maximum of 8 triathletes, at least 2 of them women. The name of the teams must be the official name of the club and 1, 2,3 ... etc., if there were more than one team per club.
The teams of the triathlon clubs, apart from opting for the awards of the Discovery GoXM general campaign, will be eligible for the following prizes for all team members:
One of the team members must download the Discovery GoXM application on their mobile phone (Smart Phone) and register in it. Once registered, he must create the team with the official name of the club, and a number, if the club had more than one team. The team can be formed between 2 and 8 people, 2 at least women. Once the team is created, its creator will be the leader of it and will be approving the application for integration of each of the team members. Each team will have only one associated email address.
During the duration of the challenge, each team will accumulate points through the following outdoor activities: Walking, running and riding a bicycle. When one participant is practicing some of these sports, GO THE EXTRA MILE application must be activated GPS and ignition system (at the time of registration, participants have enabled the Discovery GoXM application to access your location). The application controls the kilometers covered, as well as the average speed per hour that each participant makes in that sport.
Participants must own a smartphone with internet access and an active email or facebook account. Downloading the Discovery GoXM application requires android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.3 or later for Apple smartphones.

The application will only record integers, not decimals, corresponding to the kilometers covered. In such a way that it rounds the kilometers traveled downwards. If the speed exceeds 70km / h, the exercise will not be considered valid.
