Zach Bitter breaks the world record for 100 miles, doing 4 marathons in less than 3 hours each.

Bitter ran four consecutive marathons of less than 3 hours each on an indoor track

The American ultrarunner Zach Bitter unofficially broke another world record, this time the one of the 100 miles.

Finished this distance (160,934 km) in a time of 11:19:13 in the test "Six Days in the Dome”In Wisconsin, beating the previous record of Russian athlete Oleg Kharitonov at 11: 28: 03.

The event took place in a indoor track and it is designed to offer the ideal conditions to those who break world records of 24 hours, 48 hours and six days.
