Zuriñe Rodríguez closes the campaign in Colombia

The Baracaldesa triathlete Zuriñe Rodríguez will extend the season until this Sunday, the date on which she will play the Guatape International Triathlon, in Colombia, the last round of this year's ITU World Cup.

The competition will be held over a distance of 1,5 kilometers swimming in a dam, with two laps of 750 meters. Next, the bicycle sector will be played on a circuit, with a climb up a hill, in which the participants will have to complete four laps to complete 40 kilometres. Finally, the walking tour will be flat along the boardwalk and will have a total of 10 kilometers.

Rodríguez comes to this event after his success in Tongyeong (South Korea), where he climbed to the podium for the first time in a World Cup event and won the bronze medal. The woman from Baracal has been concentrated in Colombian lands all week to achieve a minimum acclimatization to the height, since the test is held at almost 2.000 meters above sea level.

His goal is to be as close to the podium as possible to score points and establish his classification to play next year's London Olympics.
