The Burgos road will have 5 stages , starting today Tuesday with departure at the Cathedral of Burgos and arrival at the Mirador del Castillo within the capital.
The stage has 157 kilometers long and the cyclists will pass through the Alto del Altotero, first category and the slope with the Alto del Castillo, third at the end of the stage.
The second stage will be 168 km between Castrojeriz and Villadiego, in a stage where a break is expected.
The third stage of 150 km between Sargentes de La Lora and Picón Blanco will be leg-breaking with 4 third-rate passes and ending the stage with the ascent to Picón Blanco, Special Category, with 7,8 kilometers and an average slope of 7,3% .
The fourth stage of 163 km between Bodegas Nabal (Gumiel de Izán) and Roa de Duero will be flat and another getaway is expected.
On Saturday and in the last stage of 149 kilometers, the lap between Covarrubias and the Lagunas de Neila will be decided with average ramps of 9,91%.
