FETRI 2019 Competition Calendar

The FETRI has presented the complete calendar of Competitions of 2019 after approval by its Board of Directors.

In this last presentation the remaining Spanish Championships, the Spanish Cup of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon, and the Classification of for the Spanish Triathlon Championships have been incorporated.

Spanish Cup of Media and Long Distance

The Spanish Cup of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon will form four venues plus the two Spanish championships. Sevilla, La Rioja and Guadalajara remain in the Cup, while we highlight the addition of Mequinenza as the new venue.

To this is added the Spanish Championship of Medium Distance Triathlon, which will be held in Ibiza, and the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship, in Salamanca, which in turn will be the Iberian Championship, in the framework of collaboration that the FETRI has with the Portuguese Federation.

The Spanish Cup will award 15.000 € in prizes distributed among individual prizes and clubs, in a clear bid to promote this project from the Spanish Triathlon Federation and the organizing venues of the Cup.

Calendar Triathlon Qualifiers

Finally, the Triathlon Qualifiers incorporate two new venues such as Melilla and Banyoles, linked to the two international competitions that will take place in the aforementioned locations (European Cup and World Cup, respectively), and to which Fuente Álamo joins, that will celebrate its 30º anniversary, Almazán and Tarazona.
