Muscular work isolated. Why do you work the two arms in the same way?

As usual, our collaborator Ricard Perez is advising us to improve our performance in triathlon.

In the previous article he told us how plan the season and in this he tells us the importance of working with muscle groups in a differentiated way.

If we are not 100% symmetric, why do we work both sides of the body in the same way? Would not it be better to work each muscle of our body according to their needs?

Do you want to be faster? Well, work on speed. Do you want to be stronger? Well, force works.

So far everything is correct. Now, if you have more strength in one arm than the other, why do you work both arms in the same way?

The gym machines are very useful to get you started in the strength work and accustom the body to a specific movement, but after a while it is time to change the system. You just need a fitball, a medicine ball, and some free weights.

Muscular Isolated Work (TMA) allows you to focus on each of your muscles in a very specific way.

Do work in balance, combine different weights, make your sessions more fun.

The result? constant improvement

During the first few months of TMA, add some maximum strength session each week to maintain muscle volume. From now on: machines = volume, isolated muscle work = toning.

Start by doing 1 or 2 sessions of 30'-45 'of TMA per week for 2-3 months and always in case of doubt, ask the room monitor to rectify the errors.

There are no previous results.
