Factors to consider when choosing a sporting event

Choose the race:

Travel:

You arrive at your destination:

  • See that everything has arrived well. If we have a bike, go out roll a little and if it's wrong, there's still time to fix it.
  • Locate a supermarket and buy food. Especially water, many times the water in the faucets is not entirely correct.
  • See near the hotel a restaurant where you can eat those days. Chinese or Italian can be a good idea. Avoid having to search a restaurant every day, much remains.
  •  Situarte regarding the race. Where are the Bus (if you have to take), where is the delivery of numbers, the runner's fair, the briefing ...
  • Try rest as much as possible and moisturize well, especially if it's summer. Once you are there, nerves and fairs make you stand for a long time and being on your feet is the worst.
  • Run a bit to let go and take your nerves, if you can swim in the test place to familiarize yourself with the terrain. What you have not done is not worth anything, it's just to stretch a little.
  • La previous night leave everything ready and prepared, making a list is very important. Do not leave anything to improvisation.
  • Arrive with time to the exit, do everything calmly.
  • Leave tourism, if possible for after the test.

And do not forget to bring sports supplements (gels, recuperators, isotonic ...) you may find it difficult to find them at the destination. Do not risk changing brands / supplements if you have not tried them during workouts!
