Canet d'en Berenguer celebrates this weekend the League of Triathlon Clubs with more than a thousand athletes

The Valencian town of Canet d'en Berenguer becomes this weekend the center of attention of the triathlon throughout the national territory for the celebration of the League of Clubs.

More than a thousand athletes from the most important clubs throughout the country have formalized their registration to participate in this League of Clubs. The teams will play to remain, ascend or descend in each of their divisions.

The Olympic triathlete Javier Gómez Noya, who could not participate in the World Series in Madrid a week ago, will become the great attraction of the national competition. Gómez Noya, who will represent Spain at the London Olympic Games this summer, will be part of the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial.

Diablillos de Rivas, Arcade Inforhouse Santiago Triathlon, CN Prat Triatló, ADSevilla – Zambru's Bike will be some of the clubs that will compete in the men's first division.

Meanwhile, the CTH Picassent, CN Mataró, Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, Marlins Triatlón Madrid or CT Diablillos de Rivas, among others, will compete in the top female category of Canet d'en Berenguer.

Second Division and Promotion are the categories that complete the National League of Clubs that will be played this weekend in the Valencian town. Both divisions will be played on Saturday.

On Sunday the highlight of the weekend will be held with the competition of the men's and women's First Division. Also, on Sunday from 8.30 am, a total of 350 triathletes will participate in the Pinedo Popular Triathlon.
