Xterra lands in Madrid

XTerra, the largest international all-terrain triathlon circuit, will soon leave its particular mark on the Community of Madrid.

The appointment will be the 12 and 13 days of July of 2014 as part of the XTerra Spain Tour and with the best organization guaranteed by the Du Cross Series team. Registrations are already open and limited to 800 seats.

The Community of Madrid will finally have its own proof of XTERRA, responsible for the most acclaimed international off-road triathlon circuits. The location, yet to be determined, will bring together the signs of identity that this type of event requires wherever it is held: a unique natural environment and a demanding route. The appointment in Madrid will consist of two events. The PRO test will take place on Sunday 13 of July of 2014 and plans to attract a maximum of 300 international athletes, prepared for an extreme effort distributed in sections of 1.500 meters of swimming, 30 kilometers of mountain biking and 10 kilometers of trail. But the day before, on Saturday 12, there will be a OPEN test, affordable to popular triathletes, with less demanding routes and distances (750 m-15 km-5 km) and limited to 500 inscriptions.

XTerra Madrid will be part of a group of tests distributed throughout Spain that are included in the XTerra Spain Tour and in which are also the towns of Berga (Barcelona) and Benasque (Huesca). The team of Du Cross Series will take charge of the organization of this event that takes place for the first time in the Community of Madrid.
