Advance: Gwen Jorgensen sweeps the London World Series

The American Gwen Jorgensen has achieved a clear victory in the fourth round of the ITU world series.

 

 

After the men's test ended with the victory of Mario Mola, the women took over to complete the 750 m swim, followed by 20 km of cycling to finish the race with 5 km of running.

 

From the first moment in the swim a first group was formed that in the end would be fundamental to decide the first places of the race.

 

In the cycling sector, a group of 12 was formed between  Gwen Jorgensen, Sarah Groff y Carolina Routier, which was maintained during the 20 km of cycling. In the second I get to the T2 to 18 '' seconds was Enma Jackson y Ainhora Murua.

 

Already in the race Jorgensen He had no rival and took the lead a few minutes after starting and did not stop until reaching the goal with 28 '' ahead of his compatriot Sarah Groff. The third classified Enma Jackson I make a comeback until I reach the third final position.

 

Ainhora Murua I also make a good race segment on foot, climbing up to the 19ª position to 1: 29 of the winner. Carolina Routier finally reached the goal in 25ª position to 1: 55, Maria Ortega 48 to 3: 44 and Melina Alonso in 52ª position to 4: 01 of the winner.
