More than 1.000 triathletes in the Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola 2024

This coming Sunday, April 28, the coastal town of Peñíscola will once again host one of the most important events in the national triathlon: the Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola.

With more than 1.000 registered, this test is consolidated as one of the most popular half in Spain, attracting elite athletes and amateurs from all over the world.

A unique and challenging route

The Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola offers participants a unique and challenging course that tests their endurance and mental strength.

The test begins with 1.900 meters of swimming in the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean, in front of the iconic Peñíscola castle.

Next, triathletes embark on a 90 kilometer cycling circuit along the picturesque roads of the Serra d'Irta, enjoying stunning panoramic views of the coast.

The 21 kilometer foot race runs through the virgin coves of the natural park, culminating in an exciting finish line located in the square where some scenes from the famous Game of Thrones series were filmed.

An event for everyone

Beyond the competition, the Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola is a sporting event for the whole family.

On the Saturday before the test, the InfinitriKids and InfinitriWoman races are held, encouraging the participation of children and women in the sport.

In addition, the city of Peñíscola offers a wide variety of tourist and gastronomic activities so that the companions and families of the triathletes can enjoy their stay.

An elite level

The elite category of the Infinitri 113 Triathlon Peñíscola will be full of familiar faces and new talents who will fight for PTO world ranking points and €10.000 in prizes.

In the men's category, the presence of the laureate stands out Jordi Montraveta, winner in Peñíscola on several occasions.

Other renowned triathletes will also be present such as Vicenç Castellà, Gorka Bizkarra, Iñaki Baldellou, Beñat Sagarzazu, Julen Lopetegui o Jordi Pascual.

On the women's side, the national flag bearer will be Cristina Roselló, who already knows what it's like to get on the Infinitri 113 podium in 2022.

Among the internationals, it is worth highlighting the Belgian Zoe Leurs and the New Zealander Sonia Bracegirdle.

The test, which celebrates its 12th edition this year, has become an unmissable event for triathlon lovers and a benchmark on the national and international calendar.
