Peru Alfaro finishes third in the Ironman of Wales
Matt Trautman and Amy Forshaw get the victory
Peru Alfaro who came first from the water and was leading the cycling sector up to km 120 where Trautman and Cartmell went solo surpassing the Spanish in 5: 50 in the T27.
Trautman managed to set a new record in the cycling sector of this test
Already in the race Matt Trautman imposed a constant rhythm getting the best time in the sector reaching the finish line with a final time of 9: 07: 28 followed by Fraser Cartmell (09: 10: 16) and in third position a great Peru Alfaro (09: 18: 28) where he obtained the third best time in the marathon
In the female category Amy Forshaw she was the clear winner of the race reaching the finish line with a final time of 10: 57: 26 followed by the German Julia Bohn
