A Spanish Triathlete signs for international cycling team in Qatar

Isora Sosa has signed for the professional cycling team of Carbon Wheels

 

Isora Sosa in a Spanish triathlete she has 32 years and was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She graduated in EF, she was 8 year working in the Sports City of Las Palmas (Martin Freire) in charge of the triathlon school, but just over 1 year ago she made a radical change to her life, decided to travel to Qatar with her couple Aday Álvarez (Engineer and triathlete) in search of professional and personal growth.

There in Qatar Isora works as a trainer, she has created her own website (http://isolifestyletraining.com) and is dedicated to the training of athletes. He also continues to compete in triathlon and in the last IM 70.3 of Bahrain he got the slot for the distance world championship that will be held in September in Australia.

This 2016 has started with another step of Isora's sporting growth when signing up for the cycling team of "Carbon Wheels" This is the first women's cycling team in Qatar and is a very important step towards the sporting growth of Qatari women. We have been talking with Isora who has told us what the project consists of: "I am very happy to be part of this new project, very important in this country, not only for the sporting part, but also because it means a very important step to raise awareness among Qatari and Muslim society that women also can do high level sport, without being frowned upon, and to motivate and encourage women, to be part of an active, free and healthy lifestyle.

The club has been formed, thanks to the initiative of one of the founding members (Wajeeha Al Husseini) and its owner partner (Marouf Tirad), both Arabs, of the best cycling shop in Doha, called Carbon Wheels Bike Shop. They already had a men's road and MTB team and decided to create a competent women's team, with the best female cyclists currently residing in Qatar. Of times we are 8 runners: English 2, New Zealand 1, French 1, South African 2, Canadian 1 and Spanish yo. "
