ITU has published the photo of the year 2011

After weeks of voting, the ITU has selected as winner the photo of the women's podium of the ITU World Championship Series in Hamburg

With more than 25 percent of the total votes, the image easily outperformed the rest of the finalists. The photo that came second obtained 17,89 percent of the votes and was that of the Moroccan para triathlete Mohamed Lahna crossing the finish line. It narrowly surpassed that of the Brownlee brothers in tandem in Madrid, which took third place.
