Mario Mola wins with authority in the Abu Dhabi World Series

After the exciting race feminine, an hour later it was the turn of men to debut in the first round of the World Triathlon World Series, the WTS Abu Dhabi

Swimming was very fast, forming a group from the beginning. The French Pujades and Raphael are the first to arrive at the T2, followed by a large group led by  Varga, Godoy, Alarza, Noya, Mola, Jonny Brownlee and other favorites.

Already on the bike, the first kilometers of cycling, began with a frenzied pace trying to form a break. After the first round, on the 2,5 kilometer, a group of 38 units with all the favorites is formed.

In this first group are four Spaniards Javier Gómez Noya, Cecs Godoy, Fernando Alarza and Vicente Hernández. For his part, David Castro stayed in the second group going 30 '' from the head.

The cycling race was a pulse of 2 large groups, in the first the most active were Jonny Brownlee, Fernando Alarza, Murray and the French Raphael and Pujades. From behind the work was distributed among more triathletes but they could not cut the difference of 30 ''.

The T2 becomes a decisive factor, and leaving in first place Richad Murray that imposed a very hard rhythm placing in first position. The Spaniards enter the T2 in the middle part of the peloton.

From the first moment Mario Mola already pointed ways and came out printing a very strong rhythm until you reach the head of the race where Murray was. When passing through the 2,5 kilometer Mario Mola leads the race with Murray and the Frenchman Vicent Luis. Javier Gómez Noya and Jonathan Brownlee were at 10 '' along with the Portuguese Silva and 5 '' of them a quartet with Alarza and Hernandez.

Already in the final part of the test Mario Mola shoves the 7ª march and he goes alone in search of the glory that takes his second victory in a world series getting into the finish with a row time of 00: 52: 31 In second position he arrives Vicent Luis  and closes the podium Richard Murray. The fourth fine positionl is for Joao Silva, followed by Jonathan Brownlee in fifth position.

The four-time world champion Javier Gómez Noya entered a great 6ª position arrives, 7º Fernando Alarza and 9ª Vicente Hernández. David Castro "Cut an ear" in the first WTS with the 41ª square and its first points and Cesc Godoy closes the Spanish participation with an 43ª position.
