The Xterra kingdom of Granada arrives full of surprises

The biggest international all-terrain triathlon circuit puts its finishing touch this season in the Nasrid city of Granada, with the closure of the XTERRA Spain Tour 2014 this September 28.

This test, located in the City of The Alhambra It will start at the Canales Reservoir at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, and later in the MTB segment it will reach the mythical 'granainos' neighborhoods of Albaicín and Sacromonte with steep slopes and very technical sections until reaching the Silla del Moro. To finish, the race on foot will run around the Alhambra until reaching the finish line in Llano de la Perdiz.

The test will take place this Sunday 28 of September of 2014 and will have the participation of national athletes like, Rubén Ruzafa, Mercé Tusell, Albert Soley y Roger Serrano, and international as Guy Evans, prepared for an extreme effort distributed in sections of 1.500 meters of swimming, 38 kilometers of mountain biking and 11 kilometers of Trail Run.

The day before the competition, September 27, all participants will be able to enjoy the now traditional Pasta Dinner at the Hotel Los Ángeles & Spa run by the Italian restaurant chain La Mafia. A way to forget those pre-competitive nerves and share feelings for the race the next day.

It is the last test of the XTERRA Spain Tour 2014 after passing through the towns of La Manga Club (Murcia), San Martín de Valdeiglesias (Madrid) and La Viñuela (Málaga), with the incentive of being the test that dictates the champions by GGEE of the entire circuit.

Also present will be Cristóbal Gómez, former contestant of the acclaimed TVE program "Master Chef". The Granada cook will prepare a catering service at the finish line for all participants and volunteers of the Salmorejo test with egg and ham and a chicken sandwich, with crunchy onion and honey and dill mustard sauce. The companions and the public in general will be able to enjoy it for a small price (5 €).

After the conclusion and arrival of the last participant to the finish line, the XTERRA Spain season will be closed with the awarding of prizes to the winners of the race and the winners of the XTERRA Spain Tour 2014, in addition to other surprises to be unveiled.
