With what data do we control the effort in the session?

It works with the FTP threshold which marks the power that you can maintain for 40-50 ”constantly. We tell you in this article how to calculate FTP 

In the case of not having potentiometer  you work with the effort perception (RPE) following these values: 100% FTP = 8 RPR

If we want to work for frequency  cardiac, these are the data to take into account: 100% FTP = 85% FE

In the video of this article they give us some guidelines to follow to run the session successfully and with guarantees that we do the right thing

This is the session:

  •  10 ′ progressive heating. (rpe 4)
  • 6 x (3 ′ - 70% - ftp (rpe 5) + 2 ′ - 80% - ftp (rpe 6) + 1 ′ - 90% - ftp (rpe 7) + 30 ″ 100% - ftp (rpe 8)
  •  10 ′ lower intensity little by little
