1.000 triathletes take Castellón in the 5º edition of the Santander Triathlon series

The appointment of this Sunday 3 July will be a great opportunity to enjoy a popular triathlon on the shores of the Mediterranean

Santander Triathlon Series, the largest popular triathlon circuit in Europe, arrives in Castellón next July 3. This stop will be the second that the circuit in the Valencian Community performs after its premiere in Valencia last 4 in June and its third circuit appointment. The fifth edition of the Triathlon Castellón will be held, one more year, in the Maritime Walk of El Grao de Castellón.

This year Santander Triathlon Series wants a great popular participation and for that reason there is a wide program that includes distances and modalities for those who start in this test. There are many modalities by relay and team and very accessible because they are short distances.

The distances are:

• Olympic (1.500 m / 38 km / 10 km)
• Sprint (750 m / 19 km / 5 km)
• Supersprint (350 m / 9,5 km / 2,5 km).

The Olympic and the sprint can be completed in individual or relay mode. The Supersprint premieres its proposal for women triathletes with the Triathlon for Us. In addition, it offers the individual modality, couples and 123.

On 2 Saturday of July from 15h to 20h will take place the collection of numbers in the same place where the next day from the 8: 00h will kick off to the sports day.
