100.000 Euros in prizes if a team wins all the tests of the Swim Run course

The Swimrun tests are a team race modality of 2 people that compete on a natural environment and in which they can make their way using swimming and running on foot.

ÖTILLÖ offers as an incentive the winner of all the circuit tests ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series 2017 and the Swimrun World Championship one million Swedish Crowns as a prize, which is equal to the amount of 100.000 € -

In difference to the triathlon where there are several mandatory transitions, in this type of tests you can alternate the race on foot and swimming when you want as long as the team finish the test together.

These tests usually have a distance of between 45 km and 75 km, separated sectors of Trail Running and swimming. For example in the World Championship of the modality, you have to travel a total of 75 km separated in 65 km of Trail Running and 10 km of swimming.

The circuit is composed of 7 tests, ÖTILLÖ Hvar (2 of April), ÖTILLÖ Utö (28 of May), ÖTILLÖ islands of Scilly (17 of June), ÖTILLÖ Engadin (9 July), the Swimrun World Championship (4 of September) , ÖTILLÖ 1000 lakes (1 in October) and ÖTILLÖ XX (not yet official).

The founders of the circuit ÖTILLÖ Mats Skøtt and Michael Lemmel (SWE) comment that it is possible to think that it is an impossible challenge, but it is an opportunity to achieve it
