800 triathletes will participate in the Half-Triathlon of Seville

Antonio Cardona and Elia Roda, absent, will not be able to validate last year's victory

The III NutriSport Half-Triathlon of Seville by AX3 Triathlon, second test of the Europa FM Circuit, look for the name of your winners. Tomorrow, around seven thirty in the afternoon, we will know who is the first to cross the finish line at the CAR de la Cartuja.

With the absences of Antonio Cardona y Elia Roda, winners last year, the test will register the name of two new winners. In the male category, the list of candidates is wide, and the title is very open. In the female category María Pujol, who won in the first edition, is the great favorite to raise your arms as a winner.

This hard test, under the modality of half Ironman, will start the 15h30 from the High Performance Center in the River

Guadalquivir with a swimming segment practically null of currents and a supreme cleaning of its waters. After swimming 1,9 kilometers, the triathletes will pedal during 90 kilometers for a circuit with a single lap, which will run through the municipalities of Seville, La Algaba, La Rinconada, Salteras, Olivares, Gerena and Guillena; finally they will run 21 kilometers (half marathon) through the Isla de la Cartuja looking for shady areas to finish in the CAR.

In spite of being only its third edition, the organizers had to close registrations when arriving at the 800 triathletes, to guarantee the safety of all the athletes. A great success, which makes it the half with the highest participation in Andalusia and one of the most numerous in Spain.

The Half Triathlon of Seville is organized by the Municipal Sports Institute of the Seville City Council and the Andalusian Triathlon Federation, in collaboration with OF SPORT. Sponsor Nutrisport.

With the collaboration of Europa FM, AX3 Triathlon, Coca Cola, Andalusia is Sport, Parque del Alamillo, Beiman Clinic and Ambulancias Pajares.
