The Triatló of La Vila and Barcelona Triathlon are unified in a single proposal
Facing the 2016 season, Barcelona merges the two triathlons of the city in a single proposal.
The decision is the result of the new approach of the City of Barcelona, which aims to streamline the sporting calendar of the city and join efforts in a single event.
Thus, the Triatló de La Vila puts an end to his story after 12 editions. The city of Barcelona will have a single test, the Barcelona Triathlon that, in the hands of Win Sports Factory, returns this year to its traditional date and will live its eighth edition on October 9.
Santander Triathlon Series: Triatló de Gavà
With this change, the Santander Triathlon Series circuit will continue to have a presence in the province of Barcelona with the Triatló de Gavà.
The Barcelona event of the largest popular triathlon circuit, which at 2015 brought together 2.000 participants, will play the September 25 in three distances: Supersprint, Sprint and Olympic.
