The Spaniards in search of gold at the Paratriathlon World Championships

The next 24 in July Rotterdam will host the Paratriathlon World Championships. Spain goes to the appointment with great contenders in search of winning the titles at stake.

 

A total of 10 paratriathletes will take part in the different categories of paratriathlon. A) Yes, José Vicente Arzo will represent us at PT1, Lionel Morales in PT2, Alejandro Sánchez Dovecote and Daniel Molina at PT3, Jairo Ruiz at PT4, Héctor Catalá with Luis Javier Castellano y Daniel Llambrich accompanied by Jonathan Galán in PT5. While in females we will have Eva Moral in PT1, Rakel Mateo in PT2 and Susana Rodríguez with Mabel Gallardo will fight for the world championships.

The tests will start from the 15: 30 hours by circuits consisting of 750 m swimming followed by four cycling laps of 20 km. After the exit of the second transition, they will make the remaining 5 km of race that will run in the Het park.

Previously, during the day of Saturday will be held a new round of the Triathlon European Cup, which will be developed in sprint distance. Here we will have the participation of Cesc Godoy (recent Mediterranean champion and silver medal in the Altafulla European Cup) and Guillermo Cuchillo. The swimming segment will be held in Rijnhaven along 750 m, to continue with three laps of a cycling route of 20 km and to conclude with 5 km of running race in the adjoining streets of Veerhaven.
