The Cidade Lugo Fluvial, in the Women's First Division, and the CN Montjuic Fasttriathlon, in the men's, premiered the list of clubs that won Spanish Relay Championships for Couples.

Mar de Pulpí, Mediterranean town, repeated as a test scenario in the modality that debuted last year in the calendar, and has awarded the first national titles in 2017. Emotion was the protagonist throughout the morning of races, in which the clubs faced the competition with three relay pairs, and during which there were several changes in the leadership that led to a great show.

En First Women's Division the first relay Ferrol Triathlon he set the bar high and could barely only respond Rivas Imps e Isbilya Sloppy-Joe`s, with the Cidade Lugo Fluvial somewhat more delayed. The panorama changed with the second relievers, and Diablillos Rivas took the first position with the Isbilya components on the hunt, and Ferrol and Lugo disputing a hypothetical third position in the absence of one more relief. Anna Godoy and Cecilia Santamaría starred at the end of the race, managing to overcome all their rivals to give the Lugo club the title. Paula García Godino and Marina Martínez secured the silver for Diablillos Rivas, and the Ferrol Triathlon of the sisters Alonso and Inés Santiago, with the rest of the relay teammates, reached the bronze medal and third position.

If the women's First Division race was exciting and it was not resolved until the last relay, in the case of the men's category it was the last segment of the last relay that made the champions CN Montjuic Fasttriathlon. The first part of the competition featured strong and leading Rivas Devils, chased by the Montilla Córdoba Triathlon and the Cidade Lugo Fluvial men's team led by the fireproof Pablo Dapena. The panorama changed in the second relay, with provisional leadership for the Cidade Lugo and behind, quite close, the Fasttriathlon. In the momentary fight for third place, several clubs on the hunt. One more turn in the race led Diablillos to fight with those from Lugo for first place, relegating Montilla and Fasttriathlon to fight for third position. But Cesc Godoy and Jordi García, the last relief of the Catalans, had not said the last word. They came out of T2 about ten seconds from the first position in the race. Antonio Benito and Javier Lluch were trying to get the double for Lugo, but Cesc and Jordi got the machado and gave the title to the club founded by Albert Parreño who was more than happy after the race. The Cidade Lugo he took the runner-up and some valuable points for the league of clubs, while Rivas Imps they finished third and bronze medal.

Facing the final classification of the League of Triathlon Clubs, in the men's category and First Division the Cidade de Lugo will get the title if it manages to qualify in any of the first four positions of the Spanish SuperSprint Championship for Clubs. The second and third place will compete the Fasttriathlon, Imps and Arcade Inforhouse Santiago. In the category of First Women's Division the Cidade Lugo Fluvial also has many options to achieve the title and the double with the boys. To achieve this must be in one of the top three positions of the national SuperSprint clubs, or ahead in two positions to Rivas Diablillos, which in turn would achieve victory in the league if it qualifies three places ahead of the Lugo. The third place will be played by Bétera and Ferrol Triathlon, and will be for the club that is classified ahead of its rival.

Mar de Pulpí also welcomed the Relay Championships Pairs in Second Divisionn. In the female category, the first place was for Montilla Córdoba Triathlon, the second for Tripuçol and the third for the European Triathlon Club. In the men's category, Second Division, Triathlon Clavería Móstoles achieved victory ahead of Tritrain4you O2-Cabberty, Y de Bicycles Pina TriToledo.
