The Austrian Gehnbock gets her second consecutive victory and Diego Paredes wins again after his victory at 2012

The past 18 of October took place IV Triathlon Cabo de Gata in Medía Distancia. An indisputable event for lovers of this sport that captivated its almost 500 participants for its privileged natural environment and the experience of being able to take the swimming test in the crystalline waters of the Maritime Terrestrial Park of Cabo de Gata.

Note that the test ran normally and the triathletes were able to enjoy the first phase in the Bay of San José, then pedal through the most spectacular areas of Cabo de Gata as El Pozo de los Frailes, Los Escullos, La Isleta del Moro , Rodalquilar and coastal towns in the area. The last section, race by foot, was developed by the town of San José until the end of the route in one of the most emblematic areas, the promenade, where the triathletes finished their race with great expectation from the public and fans.

Diego Paredes he won the men's category victory after getting a time of 3.59 hours, followed by Rafael Lao with 4.07 hours e Iván Suárez with 4.06 hours. In females, after the 4: 34 hours of Sylvia Gehnbockthey entered Celia Kuch y Yessica Pérez that accompanied her on the podium as second and third respectively.
