The Aquabike debuts in Canada with the World Championship in 2017

For the first time, the Aquabike will premiere with the World Championship in the Canadian city of Penicton on August of 2017, coinciding with the ITU Multisport World Championship.

This test combines a segment of swimming and cycling, where in 2017 the title of world champion will be disputed along with the Triathlon, Duathlon, Crossover Triathlon and Long Distance Triathlon events.

The competition will consist of 3 km of swimming, followed by 120 km of cycling, establishing the goal in the second transition. where the athletes will have to leave the bike in the T2 and sprint to reach the finish line.

El Multisport World Championship, will host more than 7.000 athletes from around the world in the city of Penicton, where the various world titles can be disputed.
