Ramón decides to face life by participating in the toughest sports event on the planet. With the help of his wife and the grumbler of his father-in-law, Ramón begins a peculiar training in which he will fight against his limitations, demonstrating to the world that surrendering is never an option.

Ramón Arroyo

Ramón Arroyo was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 32. At that time, when physical activity was considered harmful for people affected by the disease, they told him that, far from being able to run, in a few months he would not be able to walk 100 meters.

9 years later, at 41, his wife and two children were able to accompany him in one of the most exciting moments of his life: when on October 6, 2013 he crossed the finish line after completing the 3.800 meters swim, 180 km in bicycle, and 42 km and 195 meters on foot of an IronMan test; considered one of the toughest in the sports world. This feat was part of the "IM4EM" challenge, a challenge posed by Ramón in collaboration with Esclerosis Múltiple España, which aimed at raising social awareness about Multiple Sclerosis, and raising awareness about the importance of physical activity in people affected by the illness.

In November of that year, the program Informe Robinson on Canal + picked up this feat. Since then, numerous media have wanted to echo the story of Ramón, very significant for the group of people who have MS. In recent years, Ramón has also participated in multiple talks and conferences, where he has encouraged people with MS to carry out physical activity - whose benefit has already been widely demonstrated - and also to push their limits to achieve their own goals, their own " Hombre de Hierro".
