Uxío Abuín: "In 2018 I would like to complete the World Series circuit to see where my place is"

The Galician Uxío Abuín finished 2017 being the Spanish triathlete with more ITU podiums and the fifth Spanish in the world ranking placing in the 26ª position. He also finished first in the overall ranking of the European ETU

Uxío Abuín has been growing internationally for two seasons, in 2016 closed the year with four consecutive wins and in this 2017 has continued to achieve great international results, with three podiums in ETU competitions and the final general, the victory in the Weihai world cup in China or the third position of the World Cup of Huelva.

Looking to 2018 Uxío aims to continue growing and power complete the circuit of the WTS competing with the best triathlete in the world.

2017 Summary:

For me it has been the best season so far, being very consistent practically performing all year round at a great level, and that has led me to achieve great results.
