Total success in the Santander Triathlon Series Tarragona

1.100 athletes have participated in the classic Triatló de Tarragona. 

Outstanding appointment in the summer calendar, this time it was the fourth stop of the largest popular triathlon circuit in Europe: Santander Triathlon Series.

Throughout the afternoon of yesterday, the Port of Tarragona has been taken by the triathletes who, for a day, have enjoyed the sport of transitions in a privileged environment and with the support of a large audience. Andrés Eduardo Díaz, pupil of Albert Parreño, has been awarded the triathlon in Olympic distance crossing the finish line in a time of 1: 51: 11. Behind, José Santos, second (1: 52: 52) and Parreño himself, who has returned once again to Tarragona to climb the third step of the podium (1: 55: 02).

In the women's category, the best time has been for Dolça Ollé, who has completed the 2 test: 07: 00. Next to her, Paula Batllé (2: 07: 14) and Anna Flaquer (2: 09: 16), second and third, respectively.

Federico Scarabino and Adriana López win in the Sprint

In the shortest distances, the victory in the Sprint was for Federico Scarabino, in a time of 57: 57, and Adriana López, in 1: 05: 21. In the Supersprint, which was added this year to the program, the fastest was Kay Eckelt (33: 31), while the winner of the Triathlon for Us was Gisela Folch (45: 30).

Finally, David Parra (31: 51) and Solene Lacroix (36: 59) have achieved the triumph in the aquathlon.

Santander Triathlon Series returns in September

After the dispute of the Santander Triathlon Seres Tarragona, the circuit rests until the beginning of September, when it returns with an intense proposal. The 4 of September will be in Palma de Mallorca and the 10 day will visit Seville. Afterwards, the September 25 is scheduled to return to Catalonia to stage in Triatló de Gavà, one of the most anticipated events.
