Flora Duffy reappears with victory in the World Series of Yokohama

Today was the third round of the Triathlon World Series with the best triathletes of the circuit and where World Champion Flora Duffy reappeared after an injury.

The test started at the 3 of the morning Spanish time with the 1.500 meters of swimming where the British Jessica Learmonth was the first to come out of the water together with a group formed by Lucy Hall, Summer Cook, Sophie Coldwell, Flora Duffy and Natalie Van Coervorden .

During the 40 km of cycling in a very dangerous and rain-marked circuit, Flora Duffy and Sophie Coldwell left on their own to get to the T2 with more than a minute 1 over Sophie Coldwell and Jessica Learmonth. During this sector Non Stanford and Jess Learmonth suffered a fall on the bike but could recover to move forward.

Already in the 10 km of foot race Flora Duffy he set a strong pace to go solo and get his first win this year with a 1 time: 56: 18 followed by Katie Zaferes (1: 58: 18) and Kristen Kasper (1: 58: 17) occupying the third final position. Andrea Hewwit winner of the first two tests of the circuit, she did not have her day and finished in the 23ª position

As for the Spanish, Miriam Casillas I finish in 29ª position while Carolina Routier was doubled in the cycling segment and could not finish the test.
