The Galician triathlete Gustavo Rodríguez will participate next Tuesday in the 34th edition of Embrunman in the French alpine town of Embrun.

Gustavo Rodríguez has already participated twice in the test in 2015 where he was sixth and in the 2016 who managed to climb to the third place on the podium.

El Embruman, takes place in a high mountain area, consists of a first 3.800-meter swim in the Plan d'Eau d'Embrun, 188 kilometers by bike on alpine roads -including the ascent to the top of Izoard (2.360 meters high). height) - and, finally, a 42 kilometer marathon. The Galician triathlete has been training "for a month and a half at altitude" to be able to offer the best version of him in what he considers to be the "main objective of the season".

"The objective is to match or improve the results of last year," Rodríguez said in a statement, who also acknowledged that "achieving victory would be a dream come true."
