There will be no 2017 edition of the Sailfish Triatló Berga

Yesterday it was published in the newspaper aquibergueda that the edition of 2017 of Slafish Berga will not be celebrated.

Bad news for the world of triathlon, since one of the most beautiful triathlons of the national panorama, the Sailfish Berga,  It will not be celebrated next year.

This is due to economic difficulties and feasibility problems. At the moment it is not clear if the test would move to another place, since looking for another location is a difficult task.

The magnificent enclave where this test was held was one of the main reasons for competing of many triathletes.

The 1,9 km swim was held in the reservoir of the Baells reservoir, the 90 kilometers by bicycle passed through Berga, Cal Rosal, Gironella, Puig-reig, Casserres, Espunyola and Avià, while the 21 km of foot race I was touring the town of Berga in a city dedicated to triathlon.

"Things always end with clear reasons“, said Moisés Gangolells one of the promoters of the test. The economic difficulties were increasing and the complexity of the test was increasingly difficult to fit into the region. In fact, by way of example, Gangolells has spoken of the road used in the cycling sector as one of the causes of the decision: “We have a C-16 complicated to use, difficult to occupy. It is a very used route on weekends and it is increasingly difficult to cut off circulation ".
