Samer Ali-Saad seeks the ninth victory at the Seville Triathlon

The Sevillian triathlete, who carries 8 victories, is the big favorite in the Seville Triathlon.

The XX BMW San Pablo Motor - Seville Triathlon, third round of the Europa FM Circuit, which takes place on Sunday, does so with an important participation (more than 3.000 registered).

A test that has managed to grow exponentially in recent years and become a benchmark. Not only for the number of triathletes, but also for the wide range of tests to satisfy the demand of such a varied audience. And it is that this May 29 Isla de la Cartuja will host from professionals to novices, through the relay triathlon, the equality or paratriathlon.

This great sports festival will have its epicenter starting from the 9h30 in the Olympic triathlon modality (1500 swimming meters, 40 kms of cycling and 10 of running on foot). In it, great triathletes will play the honor of triumphantly raising the arms of a test of prestige. In the list of favorites appear the great dominator of this test, Samer Ali-Saad, winner of 8 editions, the last last year.

Along with him, Pedro Lumbreras from Seville, champion of Andalusia of Duatlón'14, is also in the list of favorites; or Germán Rodríguez from Cádiz. These three triathletes occupied the podium last year. All of them, along with some surprise that always appears, will seek to cross the finish line in the first place at the 11h20 in the morning.

In the women's category, the great favorite will be the Sloppy Joe's-Isbilya club triathlete Rocío Molas, winner last year of both the Seville Triathlon and the Duathlon. Along with her, Ana Ruz, Spanish quadriathlon champion in its last two editions, Andalusian Triathlon champion and winner of the XVIII Seville Triathlon. Natalia Fischer joins the list of applicants.

A true sport festival that will sprinkle every corner of the race: the waters of the Guadalquivir, the Isla de la Cartuja or the peaceful leafiness of the Alamillo Park.
