Fernando Alarza, Anna Godoy and Sara Perez suffered intestinal problems in the individual tests and Vicente Hernández ran with blisters on the feet

Finished the CKitzbuhel Triathlon European Ampeonato with the proof of mixed relay in elite and junior category in which the expedition of the Spanish Triathlon Federation participated in both categories.

The junior relay was formed by Iria Rodríguez 1ª, Alberto González 2º, Lucía Salafranca 3ª and Javier Lluch. The test had 18 teams in the starting line, and with some of the selections contributing members who only moved for this competition. The first relief marked the future of the race, and where our participants were hanging out of the medals from the start. In spite of everything, the four members competed with the maximum intensity achieving a meritorious sixth final position.

The elite relay competed next, formed by 1ª Anna Godoy, 2 Vicente Hernández, 3ª Sara Perez and 4º Fernando Alarza. Our aspirations happened because both Fernando and Anna and Sara recovered from the intestinal problems that hindered them in their individual participation, in addition to the problems of blisters on one of Vicente Hernández's feet.

At the end of the first two rounds led by Anna and Vicente, and the swimming of Sara Pérez Sala allowed us to be in the first positions at the beginning of the third. Although later Fernando took the relief already out of race in the 8º position and without possibilities of comeback.

The relays will be of vital importance in this cycle and we have much room for improvement, and this test has served to add experience and as a contact for future competitions.
