Trivitoria presents the "Women and Triathlon" initiative

During the last years, the female sport is experiencing a continuous boom both in the number of athletes who practice it, and in the quality of them. Every year, Vitoria-Gasteiz Triathlon He has lived through this natural evolution, and based on this, the organization has decided to take a step forward by launching the "Women and Triathlon" initiative.

 This project created in collaboration with the Fundación Vital Fundazioa born with the aim of disseminate and promote triathlon among women, and encourage them to practice it in the medium and long distance (competitive modalities of Triathlon Vitoria-Gasteiz).

Triathlon is undoubtedly a very demanding sports discipline that in Canada, the USA or Germany it already has an important rootedness among women athletes and, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, it is obtaining it. Reflection of this is that one more year in TriVitoria will meet to fight for victory the main references of triathlon at the state level. It will undoubtedly be a great day of effort, improvement and spectacle of women's sport.

In this sense, the organization of Vitoria-Gasteiz Triathlon pretend to give greater diffusion to this wonderful sport between female sector, since experience tells that whoever proves it, is captivated by it.

Therefore, today the first of the videos produced with testimonies from four of the protagonists, Patricia Bueno, Aintzane Argaiz, Nerea Gambra and Helene Alberdi, that will meet in Vitoria-Gasteiz on July 8, in which we can see how triathlon allows us to exceed our limits. In addition, in the context of TriVitoria 2018, a round table-talk about the Triathlon and the influence it has on women.

The organization Vitoria-Gasteiz Triathlon has been proposed over the next three years gradually increase female participation, so we encourage all women to know the triathlon because who knows it once, lives it forever.
