The V TriWhite Cup will start the 17 in April in Benidorm and will have offices in three autonomous communities

The competition will be held in the Olympic, Sprint and Supersprint categories and has the challenge of mixing sport with leisure and tourism.

The most important and popular triathlon circuit in the Mediterranean, with venues in three autonomous regions (Comunidad Valenciana, Región de Murcia and Andalucía), has already unveiled the calendar of its competition. The TriWhite will maintain in this new edition the venues that have been standard of the test and that allow to mix to perfection sport, leisure and tourism to shape the true spirit of the competition.

In the last edition, the Triwhite Cup managed to gather an average of 700 triathletes in each of the contested competitions, counting on the representation of more than 250 triathlon clubs throughout Spain. But the TriWhite does not only have a huge sporting influence because of its volume of participants, but it also makes itself felt in other sectors, such as the economy.

Around the 75% of athletes usually spend the night in each of the venues, ideal to enjoy a few days of leisure accompanied by family and friends, which allows to generate an important impact in the localities that host the tests.

The competition, as is traditional, will be played in the categories Olympic (1500 m swimming + 40 km of cycling + 10 km of running on foot), Sprint (750 m swimming + 20 km of cycling + 5 km of running race) and Supersprint (300 m swimming + 10 km of cycling + 2,5 km of running on foot). The diversity of tests allows professional triathletes as well as those who are amateurs or those who start in this activity to enjoy a tour commensurate with their potential to enjoy the event.

All destinations have a magnificent tourist attraction and are in themselves a reference in their sector thanks to the high level of quality of their services, their accommodations and an ideal climate practically guaranteed for sports.

This season, again, the TriWhite Cupo has chosen Benidorm to inaugurate the circuit. It will be the 17 of April, again with the beach of Poniente as a great symbol and reference. The second test will take place already at the 12 in June, in Pilar de la Horadada. A week later, Torrevieja, another classic stage, will host a new stage, the last before the summer break.

The competition will return in a big way in Alicante, the 4 in September, where last year 10.000 spectators gathered at Playa del Postiguet. The Almeria town of Carboneras, the 18 in September, and the Murcia San Javier, the 2 in October, will close this fifth edition of the TriWhite Cup circuit.

The majority of the participants, according to the organization's data, repeat at least four of the events of the circuit, which are the minimum to qualify for the final ranking of the competition.

In this way, the triathletes and their families can segment their vacations in several weekends and enjoy attractive destinations that please the companions and allow the athletes to enjoy an environment and a competition that suits them.
